![]() ![]() Please note I have only tested that this works with Mame, I have not tested with any other emulators. I can confirm in my testing with Mame that the credit button works as normal and it still works for exit with both credit buttons pressed together. You should now find that when holding down P1 credit and then Pressing P1 start sends an esc command to exit Menu/Hyperspin. You then right hand click on whichever button you have assigned as your P1 coin button (in my instance Button8) you need to change the option for set selector to Selects set 2 and choose the option for when held (you will get a little blue bar at the bottom of the button that says 2 with an arrow next to it), If you press the arcade button selected then you will see it changes to a 1 and that the selected set in bottom right will change to 2.Ĭhoose set 2 (bottom right) and click on whichever button you have assigned as your P1 start button (in my instance Button7) and set this to esc. (Which should be always as unless its a fight stick its not going to be removed). Save the Joystick setup and it will automatically load that when it detects the controller. I only set mine up for the player 1 side, not much point in setting up on both. Run xpadder and create a joystick setup which I imagine will be much like mine, 1 joystick and 8 buttons. You should be able to find it at download.hr OK firstly you want a copy of xpadder 5.3 which was the last of the freeware versions of xpadder. (here you go, this was the main part of it). It may be worth clearing the joystick settings and then inputting them again.ĭoes the game launch if you press enter on the keyboard? Are you using a multiwheel setup in hyperspin or just a single wheel. Make sure that you have turned off Hyperlaunch for Mame. You could map it 4-8 ways to give you more button options, which could be a simple solution. That all seems a bit strange, if it is letting you select a wheel and back out of a wheel using the keys it should start the game. I see you're not using the L Thumbstick for anything. While holding say, R1, pressing X might bring up the chat menu, and O closes it, when normally those buttons might jump or activate something.Ĥ. You could have a button that switches control layouts to the chat menu commands, while everything else is left alone. ![]() #Xpadder 5.3 forum free#Perhaps try and use the advanced set selector functions in Xpadder(should be in the free version). (START might have both M and ENTER tied to it in the emulator options.)ģ. Check if you've accidently added more functions to the gamepad button or have some flaw in how it was implemented. Doubtful if you haven't noticed any other problems, but START might be registering both commands at once.Ģ. Check if there's native support overlapping the emulator commands. I'm not familiar with what the controls for Elsword are, and how you're having them set up in Xpadder, but I'll give a few solutions.ġ. If you haven't already figured it out, I might be able to help. One last thing, I also tried to use the controller on emulators and it works properly so it's not like the buttons are jammed and I am pressing 2 or more buttons at once. I just bought this controller so it's new. The map can't even open since M was used in chat rather than game. So it keeps entering chat and typing the letter M to the public. Lastly the Start button that I assigned to open the ma keeps pressing Enter and then M The Select button acts as an escape button first then goes into the K menu. ![]() R1 functions as a left CTRL first and then does D like I specify. The and X keys when pressed will perform A, S AND THEN their assigned roles. The Triangle and O keys don't only do left and right click but also double as a Z, X key. The problem is that some of the keys have more than one function. #Xpadder 5.3 forum ps3#I'm using a Rock Candy PS3 controller.ĭ pad - the up down arrow keys and what not I have all the keys that I wanted assigned properly (pretty sure it is). I downloaded a free version of Xpadder and am trying to run it on Elsword. ![]()
